Dentist

Hello, my name is Cheryl Colker, D.M.D. and I have been practicing dentistry for 28 years. Most of that time has been in Orange County. I attended High School in West Covina and College at Cal Poly Pomona and California State University at Fullerton. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis Dental School and shortly after that I moved back to California. I have been married for 22 years and have a beautiful daughter who is 16 years old. I Home School my daughter through Connection Academy and I‘m very proud of her. I am also a volunteer for The Relay for Life San Clemente an annual event in July at the San Clemente High School. I work very hard to help provide caring, comprehensive services for my patients. I work non-traditional hours to help many of the parents, patients, and others who sometimes can be overwhelmed with the Monday through Friday routine of school, work and errands.

Office Manager

Hi, I'm Cathy and I’m the Office Manager of Dr. Colker’s practice. I have been in dentistry for 30 years. My whole life I have been discussing teeth! My father and uncle were dental technicians so I was raised hearing about dentistry! I became a dental assistant and then took courses at USC and became an Oral Surgery Assistant with hospital privileges. Over the years I have served in many capacities, back office, treatment coordinator and front office including management. I enjoy working with our patients, helping clarify any questions regarding treatment, insurance and payments. :)

I have been married for 33 years and have 3 grown sons. I have lived in San Clemente for 20 years and love our community. I am happy to be part of a staff that is true to wanting to do the best for our patients and provide outstanding and conservative care.

Hygienist

Hi, I'm Trisha Nguyen. I’ve been practicing Dentistry for over 20 years. In the beginning of my dental career, I worked as Dental Assistant for over 3 years and then I decided to pursue higher education by becoming Registered Dental Hygienist. I obtained an AA Degree in General Education in 1993 and then graduated with another AA degree in Dental Hygiene school at Cerritos College in 1995. I enjoy being a Dental Hygienist. Each time I can help my patient to improve their Dental health I am rewarded. My philosophy is to take care of my patient’s dental health as well as taking care of my own teeth”
I currently reside in Ladera Ranch with my two handsome boys (7 and 11 years old) and my husband of 16 years. I love traveling and spending quality time with my family and friends. I have worked for Dr. Colker since 2006 and am looking forward to working with her for many more years.

Hygenist

My name is Angie and I am a registered dental hygienist. I've been in the dental industry for many years. I began as a dental assistant in high school. Because of my passion for dentistry I retuned to school and obtained my degree in hygiene. When I'm not helping people with their beautiful smiles, I like to spend my free time with my three grown children.I also enjoy practicing yoga, and going for runs on the beach. .

Kathy Barajas, R.D.A.

Hello My name is Kathy Barajas I have been a dental assistant for 25 years. I love the dental field because there are always new and exciting changes from year to year. I'm married with two kids and a dog. My hobbies are walking, jogging and reading. Spending time with my family on the weekends is my favorite thing to do. I will be happy to help with your smile.

Janice Patino

I am a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). I came from a family of Physicians and Dentists. I received my dental training in Santa Monica. I live in Laguna Woods and my favorite things are walks in the evening because we have such beautiful trails and wildlife. I also love to read and collect rare books.

Special to my heart is my ferocious dog Petunia.
